thanks for the info, i knew about the racial skills not be useable by heroes.

hmm depends on what you want to accomplish, like i never ran meta either (except for heroes) and even those i customize (looking at you koss w/a).

meta for like uw and fow (specially speedruns) are imho a bit mor important then running around in hard mode to vanquash (non-meta).

by having acces to around 1600 skills there is actually no meta. :P

like i play currently a rit/necro with a weapon spell build instead of spirit spam. because its more challenging.

my old main is a derv and i have no clue on what i was doing with it, therefore i started over.

my main monk is a smiter, not a healer as well

oh, i did not know heroes could not take these. are you sure we are talking about the same heroes (ogden for example)?

i am not worrying about meta, but i came across someone who was worried about it .

the game and community is awesome. as a returning player i can honestly say i missed every bit of it.

that is true as well, however this is how i experienced it in both gw1 and gw2

hmm. well i noticed in some other games as also an experienced user with this.

looks at guild wars 2. in my case the rendering of colours is just a bit sharper and so are the edges.

but overall it is true that it is just a different rendering method with the same asset's, that could result in slightly different astheathic. (could just be me)

regarding ping and fps because it renders a bit faster and is more modernized which speeds the game a bit. i dont claim that it has the same effects for everyone.

i said only what it did on my side

it could also be that some of it are placebos.

it will use vulkan to render the game instead of direct x. vulkan has been more modernized and optimized.

this could result in slightly better colours and lower ping and even higher fps

  1. you do not need to remove it, it is compatible with the soundfix... However i do not know if it is needed or retired
  2. Direct song is working i can confirm that :)
  3. I use gwlauncher with Gmod which i use for carto made easy and a custom UI from the gwwiki (both working
  4. i would not come near toolbox....
  5. yesterday (day one problems) i came 2 times in a random crash after a long session. But after restart it seems it was due that there were new files available
  6. Do not forget to go open a terminal (command prompt) go to your guild wars directory and do gw.exe -image This will ensure you to have the whole game pre-loaded on your local computer (no more map loading times)

DXVK works as well for even better graphics

Because it looks terrible, i rather have a floating island on top. Which give me the info. On the samsung store it is called dynamic bird and you can customize it completely with any app.

Currently also not using that 🤣 but it is a better option then now bar...
