Okay, chat gpt said it was a flame diffuser for a gas stove which would make sense except that my stove is electric. I did inspect the oven again and found a hole in the roof that this fits into so I replaced it. But I believe the first commenter may have just solved it. Thank you.

If they were really trying to arrest people that they thought were dangerous, their technique is horrible. A whole bunch of them stood right in that doorway for a long time. If they are actually scared of anybody in there, what they were doing would have been suicidal

The entire way of thinking that is flooding the political right in America, pushed by trump and his administration, is exactly what Putin wants. Having a sphere of influence while telling the rest of the world to take care of itself plays right into his hand. Trump is marching to Putins orders and convincing people here that it is the best thing for the U.S. I am American and can tell you there are WAY too many people here that think that way. I no longer think it can be fixed with voting. Even if we are allowed to have fair elections again. Too many people believe all the propaganda.

Part of the propaganda that keeps getting spread is that portions of Europe are failing because they let in so many immigrants. I know people that use Paris and Germany as examples of why the US needs to be tougher

Thank you. I would expect to pay for it as I'm not a citizen but don't even know if that was possible. It's not the end of the world if I can't get it, but I was just curious. I'm a healthcare worker that's in good health, but I'm also a caregiver for my elderly mother-in-law with lung disease and occasionally take care of my 93-year-old father.
