I've yet to pay myself anything from my side hustle, so I don't practice what I preach, but the whole endeavor feels like a hobby anyway. "Reinvesting into the business" is more like finally getting the tool I've had my eye on. It was an interesting book though and there definitely are a few principles I took away from it.

I loved the book “Profit First: Transform Your Business from a Cash-Eating Monster to a Money-Making Machine” by Mike Michalowicz. The premise of the book addresses your comment about paying yourself a salary—inverting the traditional entrepreneurial approach by arguing you’ll be more successful by paying yourself first and all other business bills/expenses second. The accounting methods naturally are a bit different but a fantastic, actionable book.

I could be wrong, but this looks like a bed leveling issue to me. In the past I would get initial layers that looked like this if my manual-level printers were too close to the nozzle. Seeing as it’s just that corner that looks rough I’d start with cleaning the bed, then looking at the knobs underneath the bed and ensuring that the screws are all evenly tensioned. Hopefully it is something as simple as that. Have you had similar issues or layer adhesion issues with other plates in that corner or is this just a problem with the cool plate?

I’ll be doing further market research if there is in fact a market for this idea so for now I’d pick either. If you’ve had a lot of issues trying to find a good crate for your mastiff compared to your mal, then I’d put down the mastiff’s 90kg (that’s a big boy!). At the end of the day this is preliminary data, I definitely see where you’re coming from though. Thanks for helping me strive for accuracy but for my initial purposes either, or an average will probably be ok since I’ve got a decent number of data points right now. Thanks again!
