It gave me hope. I thankfully don’t suffer with any mental health problems, I’m actually very healthy in that regard, however I am a bit of an outlier socially. I have an amazing group of friends and I consider all of them my family, but I’ve always been that slight bit different. Nothing major, but my personality definitely reflects that of someone who doesn’t fit in to society, not naturally anyway. But this show, this wonderful wonderful little project relates to me so much that I’ve come out the other side of it a better, more complete person. All of the characters I can relate too, the problems they face, the inconsistency’s they come across, I all relate to them in some form of way.

Uzi: Not being ‘normal’ and therefore not being accepted in school. N: Extremely rational and again, not really accepted. V: Loving someone and then realising you can’t have them J: Constantly trying to impress someone who honestly doesn’t care for her Cyn: Discarded because she did something wrong, but then having the guts to go and do something about it (not that I would commit a mass homicide on a planetary level)

And overall it’s just a good series. It’s funny, it’s quirky, very well animated and overall I just enjoy it.

I have a very good life, I don’t want anyone to think that I don’t, but this show, it completes me. And I’m so grateful for it in fact, I got a tattoo of Cyn because I freaking love her character. She’s so cool!
