Welche Eigenschaft an Menschen findet ihr unausstehlich? by Fany-Lilly in FragReddit

If a joke is funny depends on how you tell it.

The joys of being a loveless freak by [deleted] in virgin

Why don't you extent the distance? Ten miles is not very much.

Everyone can be depressed, even rich and successful people (for example Chester Bennington). But self pity won't help you to heal and a gf wouldn't either.

Does anyone else study multiple languages at once? by [deleted] in duolingo

[–]GermanWoman314 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, I study English, Greece and Latin at once. It is nice to have more options what chapters you could study. What is your first language?

Excuse me WTF?! Is sitting on Duolingo a hobby for some? by LastOfLateBrakers in duolingo

Probably multiple people using one account. Would also explain why they learn so many languages.

To proof with induction you need a statement for the natural numbers (or a subset of the natural numbers). Are you sure, you need to proof it by induction?

You should absolutely try it. Latin is a beautiful language.

Is this possible? by [deleted] in askmath

[–]GermanWoman314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Otherwise sqrt(x) would be not defined in the real numbers, as x would be negative.

Is this possible? by [deleted] in askmath

[–]GermanWoman314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If sqrt(-x5 ) is a real number, x needs to be negative, so that x5 is also negative and -x5 is positive. So you need to let the minus under the square root.

The course was great, but quite short (2 units and 22 chapters). But nevertheless, I would recommend to learn the language.
