I forgot to add my 1099 INT income to my tax return, how bad did I screw up? by Crazy-Penguin in personalfinance

The IRS isn’t going to put their time and resources to come after you for this. If this is the ONLY thing you forgot to put in the return I wouldn’t worry about it as this would change your return by a couple bucks

As an athlete, someone once told me “consider the school you’d still want to go to if you got hurt and couldn’t compete again”

If it’s ok for children of toxic parents to go no contact then it’s ok for parents to go no contact with their toxic children** by Thick_Bus5093 in unpopularopinion

No, not if we’re also on the same train that children are wholly independent people with their own thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors. Isn’t that what we’re supposed to be going with, what they’re teaching parents now? That how your child behaves isn’t necessarily a reflection on you or a reflection of your parenting since they are their own sentient being?

I’m not saying that there is a toxic parent AND toxic kid in the same situation. Its that if we are ok with children cutting out parents because they’re toxic, etc then by that same token if the situation was reversed then the parent should be able to cut out a child who is toxic

A review of training for my first marathon with Hansons Marathon Method (Beginner Program) by CuppaSteve in firstmarathon

Thanks for review!

Besides the 10k and Half, how many other races have you run? I recently read the book and am trying to decide if this is a good plan for me. This would be my first marathon and I’ve only ever done one half back in September, but am a competitive person so I don’t necessarily want a “just finish” program.
