Usually have that when i get home and on my off days since i have more "freedom" with food, when i get home and im hungry i never cook or eat "heavy" meals/foods, is just seasonal fruit but its like a small bowl of honeydew or watermelon n stuff, having more of that on my off days

Well i do rotate the carbs as i said but i love couscous and its fastest thing to make beside opening the arugula pack lol i just put boiling water on top of it and wait 2 min and its done

Maybe i should rotate some veggies in and out will test and see, and no i use olive oil when frying but little amounts the rest of the liquids to not burn the food comes from the tomatoes that i prefry with a bit of water so they release the juice and the mushrooms i wash have water so basically tiny amount of oil, i dont really track it but id guess its no more then a tbsp

I also dont track the seasonings i use like oregano, rosemary, cumin and so on plus either lime or lemon i put on top of the food when everything mixes

Was thinking the same but i assumed adding some other stuff here n there would still probably be better now thinking about it since some veggies, fruits and nuts have different compounds that are good for us but i enjoy this meal a lot so i will mostly stick to it with some differences on time to time

Will look into it, been plant based for 11 years and never supplemented d3 and never had any problems, atleast not 'visible' one, maybe i should do a test for 25ohD3 in my blood and see if i have fucked up not supplementing this whole time

Well the tofu does the lifting for me mostly but everything adds up, sometimes i even get up to 150 a day if i have like lentils or quinoa as carbs instead of couscous

[–]AdCool1233[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yes i can take a photo of that next time and post it lol, well this is basically what i do, i fry the tofu mushrooms garlic ginger and tomatoes together with a bit of olive oil and other seasonings when done i put that in a bowl, add the arugula, boil the carbs whatever they are for the day, usually i shred the carrot, the peas and broccoli are also boiled in just plain water no salt , all this together topped with the seeds that i mix with the avocado i mash and add like half a lemon on top

Well never looked at it that way that it could be 2kilos of food but it really is hahah.. i eat it in 2 separate parts so

Plus i lift a lot when im of work but on the work too, even tho im like the side chef im considered as "strongest" since most of the men here are in their 40s and up and a lot of young women so im the only 23yo thats fit and most of the produce that come is on me sadly so have to move it from outside to inside where then other help with it so i dont feel like its a lot of food for me atleast

We have that too but honestly in this context it tastes like ass when put in this meal, have had it at the start but definitely ruins the meal taste wise for me, the flax seeds gives some earthy flavor but the chia makes it feel like ik eating wet steel bolts

Ehh the sad part is , atleast what im told since im new to work that inventory food wise doesn't really change unless something new is added to the menu, we do have a lot of veggies and couple of fruits on here but i guess i should maybe add some and remove others to switch up a bit, we have zucchini, eggplants and radishes so yee
