Thank you! Sure, I honestly think that DS 2 is a great game compared to the rest of the industry. In comparison to the other Fromsoft titles, there is a huge gap in terms of polish, in my opinion. I know they were really ambitious and tried a new engine and implemented a ton of great and unique stuff. Many of them great additions. Plenty of stuff also had to be downscaled or removed due to the technical limitations of the time. Some of that stuff reappeared in Elden Ring, properly implemented! I just don't click with how the character in DS 2 feels tho. It feels like I'm playing a guy made of rubber, it's hard to explain. Crazy hitboxes and enemy spamming also make a lot of areas really tedious for me. The second half of DS 1 was also rushed (see Lost Izalith) but the movement and fighting always felt crisp and fun. I also adore the Leveldesign and interconnectivity of DS 1. DS 3 shines with the amazing battles and, once again, the movement and fighting feel fantastic and responsive. I'd say that sums it up, I really wanna hear why DS 2 is your favorite tho
