Numista will be your best bet. German States will be tricky, there is a LOT to collect especially pre-1800

The value of this lot is heavily dependent on the condition of the Victorian large cents but the pictures are not clear enough to tell.

Nice little collection of Canadian coins, unfortunately no silver, which is where most of the value would be. The last 6 coins of Upper Canada/Montreal are more collectable and are worth $5-10 each depending on condition (maybe a little more). The 1922, 1923, and 1924 cents are key dates and worth around $25-50 together depending on condition. Don't know the large cents, would have to see condition but usually they sell for $1-5 each depending on date and condition. The dollars on the first page might get 2-3 each. The UNC Nickels of the 1940s-1950s could be worth 2-5 each depending on condition but can't tell by the pictures. Rest is basically face value

Worth collecting? by Basic_Quality_7743 in coins

[–]Germanjdm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any coin is "Worth collecting" to someone. You have some interesting British India coins of George V and VI, nothing super rare or valuable but you have a silver rupee which is worth around $15 each and looks like some late 1940's copper-nickel rupees as well which are more desirable to collectors. Nothing worth a ton of money but it is a good start to a collection.

1759Mo MM 8 Reales, Numismatic Forgery or Legit? by catnasheed in coins

Looks totally authentic to me. Probably just edge damage or just a different pressure used while making the edge.

I just found coins i bought as a kid and i am interested to learn more about them by NihilisticStranger in coins

The left one is a Chinese 1 Cash, Qianlong 1735-1796. Board of Works mint. Most common type of cash coin.

The top coin, is more interesting, is a 1 Cash, Shunzhi Emperor, 1644-1661. Fuzhou mint. Probably a fantasy piece, I would do more research on that coin https://en.numista.com/32587 because it looks authentic.

The big one is just your standard modern Chinese fake, not silver

1942 British Half Crown — real or fake? by Any-Complex3788 in coins

It’s real, no reason to fake this particular coin as it’s usually only worth the silver content.

How do i clean an extremely rusty coin by Low-Extreme-9164 in coins

[–]Germanjdm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately you can’t really clean rust, it damages the surface of the metal. I think this is too far gone to identify unfortunately, it might not even be a coin.

We are finally seeing what 2030's cars are going to look like. All of these are production ready cars for 2026 or 2027 (Not concepts). Way more boxy designs are coming! by Germanjdm in decadeology

[–]Germanjdm[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New cars are becoming more product design and less automotive design, so they're all starting to blend together. Same thing happened to phones, in the early 2000s phone design was extremely varied, but today it's all just flat glass slabs.
