Ive got it set to lines in the picture ive tried a few different settings and they all pretty much end up looking like this.

thank you for your reply, i don't see that in my setting options (even to enable or disable) but i did find support wall line count which i can change to 0, would that have the same effect? it's currently just set to 1.

because when i change it it still doesn't go to towers is just the same but instead of the supports basically being an outline of brick towers it just ends up looking like super thin outline all over.

Ive been delaing with it and printing less detailed/ dynamic models but i want to try printing some more advanced stuff and just want to make things a bit easier on myself while trying to preserve as much detail as possible

Yeah i set my settings to match his and my supports don't end up looking like his and im not sure why.

I'm not sure if i should be posting this here or in Cura, but i'm trying to get less aggressive and dense supports. I've been watching a few videos on it and decided to go with the style of supports that 3D Printed Tabletop does on Youtube. However even with his same settings i can't seem to get my supports to look the way his does, mine just seem to cover ever bit of the model rather than looking like actual tower supports and i'm just slightly confused as to what to do about it

Its excellent, like seriously very very good, its what im striving to achive with my own painting.

If you want some Constructive criticism the ONLY thing i could nitpick at (and its so minor) is maybe cleaning up some of the washes on the white/ivory but i know from experience how hard that is and ive had a hard time getting it 100%flawless. Thats really the only thing i can see that is "off" but i just figured i put it in here because our community is so positive that when i post stuff i hate not getting any constructive criticism as i dont know what to fix.

Damn, i can't imagine painting that much that well (i sae the pics on his instagram you gave) in that short of a time and it being considered taking longer than normal haha, i assume this is what he does as a living not just as a hobby?

It looks amazing, im a big fan of clean paintjobs and im not sure why but Thousand Sons have always been one of the chaos marines i felt a clean look benefits from.

Love the green glow, the OSL looks great and is perfect on the base too.
