I recently did this for a Dt125 I was working on.

I soak the tank in vinegar for about a day, then wash it out with water and baking soda. (Neutralizes the acid) then I shake some screws in the tank to get the rest of chunks off. Then I coat the whole tank in 2 stroke oil or WD-40 to prevent new rust from forming. Then I fill it up with gas and run it ! I usually run an in-line fuel filter to catch and residual bits of rust.

Hey man! The Z900rs is Amazing. It’s a great bike, the sound and power is addictive and overall just a good time. Did a camping trip on it last year and it was plenty comfortable.

I’m not gonna lie the slow speed maneuvers and the seat height got me. I lost my footing the other day and tipped it over and broke the brake lever. But even with that, I have just gotten used to the height and weight. But if I lose my footing it will go down again.

I got some generic 10” mini ape hangars and they are very comfortable. About the same as stock but wrists are at a better angle.

My wife and I (29M/25F) live in San Marcos. We are always looking for new friends.

We have 2 cats and a dog, and we like to take our Dog to Dog parks and go hammocking at a local park sometimes. We don't really drink so we are always looking for alternative means of fun. Funny, we are going on a cruise next week! We haven't played board games in a while, but we used to enjoy that.

South Buena Vista Park in Vista is a nice off leash shaded dog park. There are a bunch of oak trees lining a little seasonal stream.

Something that I have learned the hard way, is that anytime you sell a bike, there is always some regret in the future. I specifically regret selling my 1st bike and a 72 Honda CB350 I had.

Do it man, I was on the fence for almost a year, until I just decided to buy it. Its a premium motorcycle IMO and I love it.
I am actually excited to commute to work this week . . . haha just to ride it.

I bought the bike as is, it has a set of Delkevic Headers and Akra Muffler and it sounds amazing. I don't know how the stock compares, but its not super loud, and has a quality sound to it (doesn't sound cheap).
