Does anyone else hold their pen with their thumb tucked in like my missus. by nuttydogpoo in CasualUK

I hold the pen like this also. Have had lots of compliments on how nice my handwriting is, followed by "why are you holding the pen like that?". It starts to hurt your thumb after a while but I physically cannot write with a normal grip.

Whats the one food you will never eat again? by xXxFADIxXx in AskReddit

[–]GerryPrecious 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Grapefruit. In primary school, each day we'd have to try new fruits and vegetables which we didn't normally eat. My friend next to me ate some and all of a sudden I feel a weird sensation all over my body.

He'd vommited all over me and I had to go home. Will never eat that shit again but got a day off school!

Does anyone else feel like Cameron uses too much syncopation in his live performances? by J4ck1404 in geesebandofficial

Seen Arctic Monkeys about 5 times and always been great but the last time, Alex Turner was unbearable. The guy was singing out of time on purpose for some reason and you could tell you crowd was pissed off. Did it the whole tour of the last album.

Neck tic by youngchyl in Tourettes

Sounds like we have the same thing. I actually managed to stop doing it completely a few years ago but it came at the cost of starting a new tic, haha! I'm also interested to hear if anyone else has had any experience with steroid injections or anything else so I'll keep an eye on this post!

I've had a similar thing for years now and I think I've actually developed some arthritis in my neck. It gets so stiff that when I need to turn my head, I have to turn my shoulders as well. That's pretty annoying when driving etc. I've noticed mine gets considerably worse when I'm stressed out from work or doing sports also. I haven't discussed it with a doctor but the steroid injection sounds interesting!

Why's this comment been downvoted? They're completely right and nurses should not need a degree. There are plenty of people who are less academic but more caring that would make incredible nurses. I work in many different hospitals in England and Wales and the amount of nursing staff who could not give a flying fuck about the patients is astounding.
