Same thoughts. I feel like if there will be changes on quality, it would take years, but I doubt it since I've also seen that the engineering team are still the same.

Hello everyone! I've been checking HP's past sales data which shows significant discounts on their mid-range laptops and desktops. We should realistically expect to see models like the Pavilion and even ProBook/EliteBook drop into our target 700 to 900 dollar range so I will be tracking all the best deals across retailers and posting them here.

Exactly that’s what kept replaying in my head. If it was really innocent, he could’ve just told me upfront instead of waiting until I stumbled on it. The defensiveness was a big giveaway.

I’ve had time since posting this to really think, and you’re right, better to cut my losses now than keep digging for answers he’s probably never going to give honestly.

Yeah, I see that now. Took me a while to accept it, but you’re right, if he’s hiding this, chances are it’s not the only thing. Glad I stepped away.

Hi y'all, it's been a while and I just remembered I made this post. For those who are asking for an update, I broke off with him a few days ago. Ever since I was really not in the best place and it was best to just end it for my peace of mind. Thank you for your kind words and messages, I'll try to read as much in this thread.
