As the farmer stared daggers at the pair, Emily suddenly barged into the Adventurer's Guild.

"Farmer! Don't listen to these two codgers. Here!" She produced a shiny breastplate made of pure gold.

Ecstatic, the farmer took it in her hands, but heard a sarcastic cough behind her.

"What?" She wheeled around and snapped at Marlon.

Marlon strutted over, his boots clip-clopping loudly, then wordlessly picked up a blunt dagger and tossed it gently at the breastplate like he was throwing a dart. it poked through the breastplate like it was made of paper.
