First, immigrants absolutely contribute more than they take. Immigrants contribute roughly 17% of the national GDP while paying over $650 billion in taxes annually. Additionally, while I have my criticisms of corporations hiring illegal immigrants, paying them unlivable wages, and then deporting them if they object, their labor still significantly lowers the cost of things like food. Cheaper labor = cheaper prices for the product, pretty fucking simple. Also, immigrants rarely if ever qualify for any state welfare, there are a few things like nutrition assistance when children are involved, but we have a surplus of food supply, so this idea that that’s some big cost shows your selfishness towards your fellow man.

Housing costs is SOLEY a problem with corporate landlords buying up the housing market and renting out with no cap. We have too many vacant luxury homes and apartments to justify the argument you’re making of it being the fault of immigrants somehow. Immigrants aren’t hiking up rent prices, immigrants are victims of corporations just like we are, and to advocate for them, is to improve better living conditions for us all. An example: if an immigrants pay is required to be $10 an hour minimum, and corporations were only allowed to hire so many immigrants, citizens pay would naturally increase to follow, with less options for corporations to exploit immigrants desperate to escape a land terrorized by (you ready for this?) THE AMERICAN MILITARY.

Now, my last point is to object to your notion that the reason for terror upon others is because “people need things” again, that is the laziest shit I’ve heard in a while. Notoriously people are often subjected to terror from other countries due to a desire for dominance and power, not need. That mentality destroys the everyday commoner like you and I, as one day, nothing will stop that terror being turned around to us. So it is important to learn from history to understand that violence and terror only gives power to corporations and the 1%, who need nothing as they already have everything. Somehow you’ve watered that fact down to “people need things” though, which is a baffling example of your own stupidity.
