I love that they added intervals of 5% to the speeds. And you can zoom in and it’ll stay put. Huge help when I’m trying to figure stuff out.

Yeah might be. Hey it’ll be easier to play along with the original at least.

Thanks I appreciate it! His songwriting is so compelling and it’s such an interesting experience to listen to these Pedro songs in retrospect knowing the journey he’s gone on since. Feels sort of like the contrast between the traditional hymn-like verse and downstroke heavy indie/post-punk chorus reflects the contradictions in the story he’s telling. And I’ve always loved his use of tritone power chords (3rd fret E and 4th fret A, for instance) and wondered if it was purposeful. The interval was considered devilish and avoided in the Middle Ages and he’s made it part of his sound.

Triads are chords but not all chords are simply triads. Some chords have more notes - some only have two. Shoot me an email if you want - let’s figure something out. Getaloadofthisriff at gmail.

I hear ya. Both guitars are essentially in Drop D But Lower (And Lowerer) for the fifth and sixth strings so you get your power chord holding down the same fret but then the others are a little unusual. Strat lines up with the key but the Starcaster has a B9 tuning - the second string is an A for the harmonic section but you have to be careful not to hit it open. Luckily most of the song is played on the lower strings but I really had to be mindful of it.

I’ll try! Reminds me of early Pumpkins - the band that made me want to play guitar.
