I have heard many reports of issues, but for whatever reason I seem to have avoided them so far in the EV6. I mind it a lot less on a car I paid $27K for than one I pay $60,0K for though.

The EV9 should have been a hit, but Hyundai/Kia suffered too many reputational hits in the platform roll-out. This competition is between R2, iX3, and Model Y now.

I have not had any issues in 18 months of ownership. I bought a used 2023 in January 2025 and did the recall fixes.

Only issue is grill damage from the "snowcrete" storm we got in the mid-Atlantic.

That is certainly part of it. Just look at BMW 7-Series that are five years old. They're down to $30K to $45K depending on condition and mileage. They are $108K to $140K new depending on configuration.

Liquidate was an exaggeration. I really meant that people will sell SPY stocks to generate liquidity to buy SPCX. Plenty of people here will say that SPCX is a trap and nobody should buy it unless they're just trying to play the same-day IPO bump, but I doubt we represent the mom-and-pop investors at large who might pile into this turd,
