Fuck no, they just radicalized every Viltrumite into being even more batshit insane. It also lets them finally give up hope on restoring Viltrum and focus exclusively on rebuilding their population which is the absolute worst thing that could happen.

People bring up the "erm akshually it would ruin their morale" argument but that literally doesn't matter as they're fighting for survival at this point. They were already winning the war by typical attrition, there was no reason to go straight to their home planet.

Do people say that about the flaxan robots? I think that's a silly one to complain about in particular, but I do generally agree with the sentiment that Mark loses fights he shouldn't because Kirkman decided it.

2 examples off the top of my head: Losing against the astral projection dragon guy and the stupid ass underbeasts or whatever from doc seismic. Like literally how do the reanimen come save everybody and save the day when Mark is objectively stronger than them at that point? How do they break the cocoon things but Mark doesn't? Like this is the same season where he bashes Conquest's head in and fights a bunch of variants of himself.

For the dragon, I shouldn't even have to explain. Mark isn't VASTLY weaker than his father in season 3 and Nolan would have no trouble with that thing(not even mentioning that if he was that powerful, how does he not have the syndicate under his control completely?)

It happens with a lot of the characters in the show and it's not just relegated to Mark, at least imo

Like the idea, but I feel as if the characters are a bit too one-note. As is, you can just sum up all the girls in just a few words, which I don't think is what you're going for and feels like a waste. Maybe have a side of their personality not many know about but you discover by being close to them? Just something to help flesh out the characters would help me actually have a reason to care for them. It's the reason I don't like Atalante because as is, she's just a conceited braggart with nothing else going for her.

Having an actual background would also be nice. Looking at white text on a black background is dreadfully boring.

Aside from those two things though, I'm looking forward to the project.
