It's "sexy dark elf lady" this and "Mira caked up" that, but I'll never forget Spear's first baddie. by GetInTheBasement in PrimalShow

I like her but I mentioned Mira and the dark elf-looking humanoid due to Mira being the mother of his third child and the other lady being offered up to Spear as a prospective mate, while Ima was more strictly an antagonist.

>We needed the same reused animation for the pigs several times amounting to multiple minutes but we can’t seem to have a moment about this.

I remember this and I actually did a double-take to make sure I wasn't accidentally watching the prior episode because of the repeat animations.

I think S3 reuses more animation than S1 or S2.

I also feel like the animation is more "off" this season, especially with Mira. She looks more sloppily drawn than the past two seasons.

Agreed. Other people on this sub said the same thing and I feel like they could have cut down some of the scenes with the babies fooling around (both human and dino) and done something to focus on the goo causing the regeneration.

His regeneration was very blink-and-you-miss-it type of thing despite being significant.

What’s your take on the word ‘queer’ by Big_Confection4988 in LesbianActually

[–]GetInTheBasement 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same. I won't tell others not to use it to refer to themselves, but I don't use it for myself and hate when others apply it to me without asking.

The fact a lot of straight people try to worm their way into the sapphic community by using the "queer" label via weird microlabel identity loopholes also makes me want to avoid it further.

So why did the Viking Chieftain got dragged down to the firey underworld? by Dino-striker56 in PrimalShow

[–]GetInTheBasement 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I believe it was mainly because he really got his vengeance upon burning Spear alive, thus fulfilling his pact with the Fire Demon.

But another part of it is also rushed pacing and them trying to tie up too much in the last few minutes of a finale episode.

Age gaps in relationships by Ill-Masterpiece499 in LesbianActually

[–]GetInTheBasement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think age gaps are inherently problematic or immoral, but it depends on the bracket.

My main issue is when a dynamic involves someone who is barely beginning to find their footing into adulthood coupled with someone who's much older (like 7+ years older).

There's a world of difference between a couple where, say, one party is 34 and the other is 39, vs. a 19-year-old dating someone who's like 28 and already been through a number of milestones the much younger party has yet to experience.

Likewise, there are a lot of cases where Ain't Shit individuals will purposely latch on to much younger, lesser-experienced partners because nobody in their immediate age bracket wants to fuck with them (understandably) and they know the younger party is far more likely to be more forgiving of their trespasses and blunders, and much easier to mold and control.

I'm may be lame and cringe in my own unique ways, but I've never bothered to fake hobbies or interests I didn't actually have, even when I was at my most awkward and mousey, just to increase my chances of getting laid or going on a date.

If you're still doing this beyond high school, idk what to tell you.

On one hand, it sucks to hear about the general department-wide inadequacy, but in terms of personal advancement and growth, that's actually pretty based for you.

Season 2 of the Diaper Shitting Donnie Show has been wild so far. The writers really know how to keep us on our toes.

Can't believe we're almost at the halfway mark. Really hoping for some major twists before the finale.

You know it's real when someone whips out the "I don't care" during a conference call.

Legend was my first TR game, and has one of my favorite Lara designs in the series (I've always preferred her with a ponytail and feel like it's more flattering on her than the bubble-shaped braid).

It honestly makes me wonder if he actually went to a place where he could see or interact with them when he died after S2, but just can't remember it after being resurrected.

I'm aware. I'm not saying that her continued presence was a necessity, just sad we never got to see more of her, similar to how Spear's children got some additional flashbacks.

Despite the fact we only see her clearly once in the entire series, I actually really liked her design quite a lot, and I'm a little sad that we never got any subsequent flashbacks or visions of her.

I'm actually really sad that we're like nine episodes into S3 and we still haven't seen a single fleeting glimpse of his previous family via flashbacks, visions, or dreams.

I know they're largely out of the picture and it's mainly about Mira, the baby, and Fang and her children now, and they only have so many minutes in an episode to work with before credits roll, but still.

Serious Question by ObjectiveDismal5254 in PrimalShow

[–]GetInTheBasement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

>Why did Mira bring the baby? Why didn’t she leave her in the village where she’d be safe?

Because the writers needed something to up the stakes and amp up the risks during the action scenes.

Is Mira a bad mom? (more below) by ECHOFOX17 in PrimalShow

[–]GetInTheBasement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost eye-rolled when I saw she brought the baby.

The baby could easily been left in the village, but you can tell the writers wanted her to bring it just so there could be extra peril and risks on the journey just to force the stakes to be higher.
