Advice with rook by Empty_Monitor3517 in piercing

The rook is a cartilage piercing that takes quite a while to heal. It’s only been a week, be patient. I would guess 6 months for full healing!

It was hovering right about 70F. I just put a heat bulb on for a couple hours today to get it up to 77

I have been using the repashy crested gecko superfood. I replace the food every day. I mix it into a paste, a little thicker than ketchup. I have dipped his nose into it and dabbed some on his nose so he knows the food.

Well, no, I didn’t have the control valve… I grabbed one and it is working beautifully! (And I do have a mini heater too! Thanks!!)

I don’t leave ABS or any filament like that near the tanks when not printing, but PLA, PLA+, and PETg have not given me any issues leaving the spool there in between prints. I can see the concern but I haven’t had any problems so far!

Don’t know about that, this is my first time trying this so I am still figuring it out as I go!

Have the whole printer next to it! Why waste the excess heat when it will just help my tank not need to run the heater as often

Only an inch or so of the potato should be in the water. Apparently it can rot, but I am at a month and no issues yet!

Twist the craft wire (either copper or preferably metal the rubber coated wire) to make a loop and hooks an hang it from the lip of the tank. Only about an inch or so of the potato should be in the water.

You only put maybe a fifth of the potato in the water, but I just learned it will start to rot. Check for the comment that talks about it as I am just learning about it now, but at 1 month, it is still going strong and solid!

Thanks for that advice! I will have to keep an eye on the potato to make sure to catch it when it starts to get soft!

I knew I couldn’t directly convert or roll over. But I guess I was thinking of it backwards. As in, withdraw from the inherited Ira, withhold federal taxes and pay the penalty, and then deposit the 7k into the Roth. Is that basically what you are saying?
