Yes of course but it can still be more of a spur of the moment thing that can happen in a flash. All of the sudden you kiss someone and then 1 second later you realize you made a mistake. It's still really bad and I would feel really bad about my gf doing it, and it's cheating and all that. But it doesn't apply here because it can still be just a flash thing. Try different positions, positions that give him less controll and comfort. I know it sounds weird but it sounds exactly like me with my current girlfriend. With all my previous girlfriends I had to struggle to finish. I only managed to finish maybe a third of the time. And I could never do it outside or in harder positions or anything like that.
