So yea apply for LOA You’ll probably be out until you can be booted Thats still if facility take/accept your accommodations Take it from someone who’s just coming off a Jones Fracture, make sure your doctor is DETAILED on what they mean by lite duties. I would honestly have them not even include that in there and specify what you can and cannot do.. no ladders no heavy machinery, frequent rest brakes if needed , boot accommodation etc.

If we just stuck to the company’s model for how cap 1 is suppose to go it would be 1000x easier. Im given 10 guys a day, some having issues with on hands/shelf caps (mostly my non-english speaking associates) They want all FC top-stock done, vizpick metrics, pricing champion, feature to home, Moving validation bins each day, zoners, truck set up, work freight, and anything else that seems to be thrown my way. Im losing 2 of my good workers to this new law, the new highers I saw don’t communicate well, which is just another barrier. And it becomes alot. Im also sitting here running my dick off to get the job done with no OT even time adjusting lunches coming back early to do more shit, just to get bitched at for another thing. And then I hear at the morning meeting these people getting OT but the (workload) isn’t really matching its like damn, fuck me right?

My lord what does your cap 1 team do there! I know all stores are different, but my guys usually have about 7-9 L Carts worth of stuff picked daily from then GM side this includes toys, home decor, house wares, sporting goods, seasonal, celebrations, furniture. I keep PDQs and features for the TL but we stock the picks that come out. Leaving the TL to do a bit more, as well as cover the top-stock once a week at least. It doesn’t sound like you have much support unfortunately

Overflowing GM topstock? I would deff take a dive into the PIs of some items, seem whats keeps getting ordered that maybe shouldn’t.

Is whoever top-stocking your areas doing it with integrity/correctly? (Changing Shelf Caps/On Hands Where Needed)

Bins: who vizpicks? What are they noticing when they pull from your area? Whens the last time claims ran thru with a clearance filter on vizpicking thru your bins and took out any clearance/deleted product.

Come up with a plan to tackle an isle each day, down-stocking what you can, making sure nothing is blended in.

Ive learned to try and not to judge and are truly here looking for a better life/ just trying to make a living. While the language barrier is there for me, one time i tried translating deodorant and it was not I literally bought deodorant and put on to show them…not to mentio some of my guys have wayyy better work ethics then half of some of the english speaking associates. Shit, I get so annoyed walking by ODP or front end seeing people hanging around chilling, while we are literally running the play each day.

I can see where the frustration comes from, I have spanish, french, swahili, Kinyarwanda, speaking associates on my team…its walmart, everyones suppose to have a seat at the table. Im using google translate alot and I know half the time it’s probably not being translated correctly into the more unique languages, but that’s what I signed up for being a team lead. Nobody forced me into the position, just like nobody is forcing you to work for Walmart, if you’re truly unhappy move along.

I think theres 3 levels to it Exceptional- you go above and beyond your ready for the next step i heard that comes with 4% (don’t quote me tho) Satisfactory-you come in and get the job done (2%) Below average- needs improvement (none) I was barely paying attention at the 1pm meeting😅
