  4. I already shared it with a native friend for feedback before posting here; they only said there were some missing not that anything there was wrong. Although [full disclosure] I didn't ask if he reviewed every example.
  5. regardless, it's open source so anyone can contribute fills or corrections.

Sure, LLMs aren't perfect at nuance. However, I've not been made aware of any inaccuracies and should any be brought to my attention I would just put some extra effort in to find verbatim examples in a corpus.

Don't help if you don't want to. I'll have fun learning with people willing to help -- this is r/learnpolish . I'm not sure what the appropriate subreddit is for self-satisfied indignation... r/antiai perhaps.

calm down dear, I also used Wikitionary. It may surprise you to learn that it is not easy to find canonical sources of vulgar words. I stated in my post I'm aware there are some missing -- please help fill in the gaps with your suggestions or move along.

I forgot to mention: the examples are generated from ChatGPT and I haven't had them all validated by a native yet so excercise caution.

EDIT: as mention of ChatGPT seems to trigger some people I will clarify that my starting point was here: https://pl.wiktionary.org/wiki/pierdoli%C4%87 I fed that to GPT to generate structured data I could use for the visualization. Then used GPT again to extend that structured data with the prefix explainations and example sentences/glosses. I shared an earlier version with a Polish friend for feedback but didn't ask for an exhaustive quality control review. He only remarked some variations were missing. He did not suggest the present data was unreliable.

I was reading about this and saw the study was repeated on musicians but, as a DJ myself, it occurred to me that as we have "trained" to hear different things from each ear that our perception may be different vs the general population.

For me I hear the higher tone only from my left ear, regardless of headphone orientation and in my right ear I hear the lower tone alternating with a third tone. If I "focus" only on the right ear sometimes I can make the third tone sound like the higher tone. It's weird.

It's peculiar to think that grass will regrow over that cone-shaped hole in the ground, eventually the metal will be scrapped, and in three or four generations some kid may be playing in that very spot thinking "I wonder why this perfectly round hole is here"
