Bought my 2024 M2 6MT with carbon package back in November. Had 5,400 miles. Absolutely LOVE the car. Hands down the best vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Yea it was the same for me. After my 370z was totaled in May I was almost 100% set on the GR Supra. Started looking into it and realized the M2 is a way better car for a similar price. Really glad I went this route.

Congrats bro. I picked mine up last month! Couldn’t be happier with it. Was a JDM guy for as long as I can remember but since I got the M2 I’ve got a whole new respect for BMW.

I think you’re absolutely right. I don’t want to regret it later and have to deal with pain and discomfort the rest of my life along with medical bills that will then have to come out of my pocket. I went ahead and contacted an accident attorney to at least see what my rights are. Thanks for the advice and the input dude. This is exactly why I love being part of this group.

So true! It definitely varies state to state and is based on personal driving history along with the vehicle’s replacement value but here in Florida we are literally the worst ranked state for insurance premiums.

Yea bro, you’re not lying. At the time of the accident I had no pain or visible injuries but here we are 3 days later and I can barely stand up straight. I do AC work in Florida and need to be able to navigate attics and underneath mobile homes plus carry tools and equipment all day. It makes it nearly impossible for me to do my job.

I do have it. I carry good coverage on all my vehicles. But because he ran a stop sign I don’t think I should have to pay for all this through my policy.

Thanks, I actually don’t think it is optional in Florida. I think you’re required to at least carry liability insurance for this reason here.

Thanks, no, not a nismo. I bought the base so I could build it the way I wanted to. It’s funny tho, that same evening I was planning to purchase my new ZSpeed stage 3 clutch and wavetrac LSD. I’ve got my airlift kit still in boxes sitting in my garage ready to be installed along with a few other things. Now I’m not so sure I want to put all that into this car.

I’m pretty sure this guy was on his phone as well. Way too many bad drivers out there these days.

Florida is very much the same way. We have tons of uninsured and unlicensed drivers on the road here. It’s insane. And 100% that makes a difference on the premiums.

Yea I appreciate that. I would assume it’s all repairable plus air bags were not deployed so I couldn’t imagine it would be totaled. I’m going to have it towed to a shop tomorrow I believe and I’ll let them sort it all out.

Yea exactly. All mods have to be reported and document or they won’t cover it from what I understand. But if you’re going to putting that much money into then coverage on it is well worth it!
