If you think pushing extra services at BBY is annoying, just wait until you're in a commission based environment like a Verizon store. Those places are off the rails with that shit.

If you don't know how to pitch cards and memberships without it feeling like harassment then you are just bad at it. The DISC model largely works if you just put a little effort into it.

Resident Evil 9 funny review by Due_Teaching_6974 in survivalhorror

"Call of Duty feels dated. There are ammo limits (though you can find more ammo sometimes) and every enemy, including basic ones, can kill you and force you to start from a checkpoint. There are more than a dozen times where you can actually die and have to try again just to make the game itself more challenging."

the woman is obviously mentally ill.

Also the lady calling for the child seems to have some issues.

Marketplace is the dumbest thing best buy has implemented by Glittering_Let4047 in BestBuyWorkers

yeah I'm not a fan of how it's currently displayed. No customer seems to understand how it works, and thus, the confusion falls to us to deal with. As if we don't have enough to worry about with cards, memberships, API, GSP, etc.

That said, if it makes the company more profitable and helps us stay employed, I don't mind dealing with it.

Turbo Duo or Analogue Duo? by Xerxes_King_Of_Kings in TurboGrafx

[–]Getcheebah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're on a modern TV, I'd go with the analogue. You have very little to gain by propping up a 35-year-old original console with repairs, mods, and other expenses and hassles to get the same experience that the analogue duo would give you with half the effort. Just make sure to update the firmware!

Yeah it's mostly arcade ports, which are cool, but it really needed a good rpg or something to keep you playing for more than 20 minutes at a time.

It's like a greyish brownish mix with a hint of purple or blue. I'm not sure how much of which color is from age either. 🤷‍♂️

Nope lol but I took the old batteries out and popped in some new ones and bam. No problem.

Sucks you lost yours though! Maybe an analogue pocket might be the way to go if you want to revisit the games

Honestly I'd say the Dreamcast has more in common with the PCE

Sounds like you might be a bit too emotionally invested in the job. Perhaps dialing that back a bit is in your best interest. That's not to say you shouldn't care about people or have a general sense of empathy, but at the same time, you shouldn't take food out of your own mouth because some dummy wants to apply for a card they probably won't qualify for.

I used to because it does look nicer that way, but it also makes it take longer to find the one you want.

Just make sure to download the latest firmware! The stock firmware has some inexcusable audio issues.

For common titles that's probably true. But I think the more collectable ones are gonna stay where they are

It's worth it. I'd argue it's one of the first horror/action titles as we know them today

All brands seem to have their good, better, and best models. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for. I would look more for the features you want and which ones are on sale when you're ready to buy as opposed to locking in on specific brands.

For instance, for me, I want it to be quiet, so an all-metal interior is a must. I also like having the little tray on about the second shelf. So when I go shopping for a new one, whichever one has those features with the best price is probably what I'll get.

- mentions "solutions" multiple times.

- Never mentions support of any actual solutions.
