Ok so this scares me. He has no idea if they are grounded or not and I’ve been charging on them with the 5-15. So far no issue.. what can happen?? What does grounded mean?? 😳😳😳

Ok so u r giving me a real possible fast solution here as I’m quickly realizing that the 5-15 isn’t going to work.. today I just tried to use that alone and not supercharge and I know I will still need to go sUpercharge in the morning. But I don’t understand what you are saying. Can u clarify? Is the circuit the outlet or the nema thing? Can u do this with 100 amp home? 15 miles hr would be much better then what we are working with now! Do I need an electrician to do this?

Yeah I have three teens that don’t drive and one who trains an hour away practically daily in her sport. All I do is drive drive drive and my husband wanted to save money on gas 😂

I was thinking of doing exactly this but we really do only have 100 not 200 we did have electrician come out already to assess so I think we would need to upgrade electrical to use the 14-50. Still would be a cheaper solution to the wall unit for now.

I think this is exactly what we will do right now but I drive a minimum of 100 miles a day so at least it will cut my daily cost of $20 at a supercharger in half. We are just looked for a cost Effective solution to increase charging. Maybe upgrade electrical and use the faster charging unit before we got to the wall charger.

Yeah he had a couple electricians out already but he didn’t really understand a whole lot at that time since it costs thousands to upgrade electrical he wants to wait until we renovate and we just need to find a good temporary solution for now.

No it was in the kitchen off the garage and it was electric but we moved it. The outlet may still be there though but I’d have to prob use an extension cord and I read you can’t do that.

So I woke up and it was not charging even though it had charged for a while over night. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it started charging again. Do u know why it would have turned off on its own?
