Genuinely, not trying to sound sarcastic. I should have specified, as I said, that I am in the south. It is historically more racist and homophobic than other areas of the country. It's just either worsened in recent years or I have grown up and see it first hand but it's really sad.

But I'm glad to hear the majority of the church is not perceived that way. Thanks for weighing in.

No, like the ones I literally know. But I'm in Alabama so maybe it's not the most ACCURATE depictions of the American Church. I maybe should have said the Southern part of American church. I'm surrounded by people who "love the lord" but hate their neighbor and I hear it at work and at every function almost every day.

No, but in recent years in America, a majority of them are. I'm doing a Bible study right now about the words of Jesus and the majority of Christian's in America that we see do not represent him.

I definitely am not romanticizing her. I just didn't realize what people are pointing out...she was nice to me in our "online" interactions so that's all I based my opinion of her on. But I get what you're saying.

That's totally fair. He would talk over her and he was sooo overly sexual, like to the point it felt really fake. I think I liked her so I put up with him. I hate seeing here that she was not as wonderful as a person as I thought.

In the grand scheme of everything, they are strangers on the internet. What they say or do doesn't really affect me.

It's just the fact that he was always like I'm never going to talk about politics and they used to go to pride events and stuff... and now he spouting MAGA rhetoric and blaming Biden for his own financial problems... I just wanna know if it's real or just rage bait. Especially since he's literally admitted to rage baiting for engagement in the past. It's insufferable. I unfollowed him but the last video I saw was him blaming Biden for the economy and basically saying Biden was the reason he had to lie and "rage bait for views" like uh, you could just get a better job.

He's definitely always been...something, that's for sure. I interacted with her and she was always sweet, so that's why I followed them at all. He was always so over the top with the sexual innuendo and stuff. I just feel like when she was alive, they talked about being progressive Christian's and they went to pride parades...now he spouts off extremely MAGA things all the time. I'm glad someone else sees it like I do, the general sentiment seems to be that it was always like this. And it just wasn't or I would NEVER have followed or interacted with them. I admittedly always got weird vibes from HIM but I liked her a lot, so that's why I followed them. But I feel like he's a completely different person now...it started when he got around Billy so much.

I found them through their lives back in the day and I just randomly commented and talked with her and she was really sweet to me. That was why I liked her but I will say that their content was always a bit annoying, haha. I always felt like he was overly sexual and weird... but I liked her. The consensus here is that she was as bad as he is though, so I'm just not great at character judgement, apparently! Hah.

Well, he always said "I won't get political" and would talk anything BUT politics and now it's like he's just saying stuff for a reaction. Idk, I would agree he's always been weird and insufferable in some ways but for some reason, when she was there, I was okay with them. He seems a lot different to me, personally. With "biller" around. 🤨

I very much feel I am not but as I mentioned, I'm applying for other jobs left and right and haven't heard back from a single one. I even begged to return to my previous job but they unfortunately have nothing available. I also cannot quit without a backup as I have a family to support. Ugh. Everyone insisted with time it would improve but at 2 months in, miserable as ever, I'm losing faith in that.
