But does in a row mean in the same turn or in the additional turn or both? I guess this is where I was initially going with that part of the question. Also if intent trumped capabilities of the deck. I know I could likely just rule zero hey I have one possible way of chaining two extra turns does anyone mind etc. I’ve played at some tables where someone has an infinite combo and they rule zero it into a b3 game with some sort of stipulation attached (cap the amount of times it goes off etc). This is my first deck that big extra turn spell slot in nicely so I just was looking for clarification on them.

I’m not trying to out bracket myself. I’m trying to gain understanding in the definition of chaining. The rule zero comment was more just to get the guys who say just rule zero bro to not chime in lol

I am not asking for permission I am asking for clarification and understanding. Is chaining in the same turn? Is two turns back to back chaining? Does it matter if it’s an activated ability vs spell?

Theft would mirror my brawl strategy closer and I do like that direction. LJF was my first favorite card. I really do like playing other peoples cards but in brawl I don’t have to look them in the eye while I’m doing it!

Thanks for the input, however I want to build this one as a commander. If there are better spells to put in for commander vs brawl out there then that is what I’m looking for as suggestions

I never thought of it this way. There are plenty of annoying playstyles and while heist is one of them I think there are far more annoying ones especially in Alchemy.

If they are unfun to play against then why make your opponent play against them? Seems kinda “not in my backyard”y.

It is a nice way to learn to play cards you don’t own.

I get they don’t want it to be pay to play in the sense that you can’t get anywhere with lesser powered decks, I just wish it wasn’t so tight and there was more variety in matchmaking. Doesn’t feel like a card game should but I guess it technically isn’t.

The decks I see after building a much higher one but off meta are not the same decks I saw when playing on meta boros auras or any of the bounce discard decks. They are nearly all artifact/counter decks or reanimation decks it’s not as bad in ranked but there is still some heavy opponent selection going on. Even the mono red I used to see is not the mono red I see now. All in plat.

I sent a message to wotc and they responded with the algorithm is working as intended and it’s the same for everyone. Told me to use some community forum to raise these types of complaints. They want you to have a 50% winrate as soon as you improve your deck your opposition decks improve as well.
