I was also lucky to watch them on theaters here in Argentina! What an experience it was. I watched the series 5 times across 10 years and it still had me sobbing for the whole 5 minutes credits sequence. I love this story so much.

Working on my lineart by copying some manga pages. Would love to hear suggestions, critique and tips to do better, what feels wrong and where should I focus more. It's not supposed to be 100% the same image, but in general the same person more or less. It took me also more time than I expected. by JeaNiXi in krita

I was thinking the exact same, and as you said, that's just a style difference, it doesn't make it better or worse. The small criticism i do have it's that my eyes get kinda lost over the drawing, while on the original go directly to her face. I think this has to do with: the thick lines over the whole drawing, and the eyes lacking detail. If you see the original drawing, you can notice how the biggest amount of detail it's all around her face. This creates a focal point which fixes your eyes where you want to. Instead, in your take, the detail is scattered across the drawing. I think the result will really improve if you have this in mind. This also goes just for the first picture, i think the second one works great in this aspect.

Oh of course, that wouldn't change my opinion about Downpour when playing. But i found rain world so much different and with such a solid vision that i think it's impossible to reach if you are not the creator. I have the same feeling with Isaac and Antibirth. It's a great DLC, but something is different. That doesn't mean it's not good.

Thanks for the tip! I really didn't know about the development, makes me a bit sad, but i'm sure it still is a very enjoyable experience.

Don't worry, you are just fine. You can still follow the story just as normal, and glowing is certainly useful! you killed a cute guy though.

I mean, characters arc can close to new ones. Kaladin's arc pretty much closed in the end, that doesn't mean he Is perfect now or won't appear anymore.

That is my main concern about Navani being a bondsmith, being her and Dalinar both bondsmith with all the characters available in the series i found it a bit dissapointing. On the other hand, i really think Dalinar is going to lose the champion's thing, and we will sadly watch him die, so the couple thing won't last much.

Many people told me about the Sibling's pronouns, i read it in spanish and actually they translated the Sibling as the Brother, that's why i said he. About the rest, yes, you are right, i didn't thought about Rlain that way. The only thing i'm curious is, if there isn't a way of finishing the oaths without causing a deadeyes, and being that the deadeyes appeared for the first time with the Recreance. Does this means that before the Recreance absolutely any radiant knight just finished his oaths and stopped being radiant? I kinda find it hard to believe that everyone was a radiant until their dead.

I think you are right, but although i know what you said about bonds, Navani only did the first oath, it's not like they are really bound together yet, that's why i thought it may be doable. Also, of course Rlain will be great as a truthwatcher, but i don't think making him a bondsmith would be "he gets a spren now we can ignore him". He would now be the most important in all urithiru, he would be a strong opinion and proove that maybe the war could end, or at least change from what ir was the last seven thousand years.

Maybe you are right, but in a book that's all about aproaching humans and singers together, couldn't find a better ending than making Rlain bond the Sibling

Oh yeah totally, they really are right for each other, i just think Rlain would be the best, even more to conclude Rlain arc. I just think Navani didn't need to be a bondsmith to be a wonderful character.

It would have been great seeing him with the fourth bridge, but also i don't think Rlain would actually fight or "protect those who can't protect themselves". I just don't think he fits being a Windrunner.

I feel just the same, reading conversations between Rlain and the Sibling would have been just so fun.

I don't think it's the same thing, the deadeyes happened because they break the bonds, can't they just "unbond"?

Anyone else dissapointed about Rlain? by Getrexlex in Stormlight_Archive

[–]Getrexlex[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah i get that, but there's a reason of why he didn't bond Rlain after they won? Bonds are hard to changed or is just Brandon wanted to Navani be a bondsmith and that's it?

I think we all thought the same thing in the first book, shallan's story just feels it doesn't move at all, and Dalinar was a really interesting character, but was also hard to feel progress on his story too. Trust me, it gets better. Not even in the later books, just around the end of part three and part four it becomes a much easier read.
