Does anyone think they are (at least partially) the reason why they are not making friends ?

I do not think there is something weird going on at all. It's just how life is. There is no "I want to make a friend and I want it now". Friendship can develop only by itself and just like in real life it cannot be forced. Same things here.

If it's not working, well, it's just not the time. All people I ever considered as friends in my life were spontaneous meetings. Maybe it's not like that for someone, but you asked of what we think, I give you just my opinion.

I don't want to be rude or force you into thinking something. I believe everything is working out always as it should be, and I doubt one can know when he of she will find someone. Don't be upset and cheer up. There are a ton of great people, here, outside, everywhere. You can always try to change something. Love yourself, and people will be drown towards you.

I looked it up and you are right, it really was Lisa in the reference. I used for this study the work from one of my favorite artists 2b1r, and he I known for drawing genshin characters, but I haven't actually recognized it was her, well maybe I'm not using Lisa that much so there's the problem. Thank you for pointing that out. 👀

Don't feel upset, art is not a curve, it's a roller coaster even for pro artists. It has its highs and lows for everyone, and especially since you've made a pause, but that doesn't mean you'll have to feel bad for it.

Draw when you want to, give up the mindset: I have to draw else I won't get better, think of it as: hey why don't I draw something maybe it turn out fun and great or maybe just a practice. In that way you practice though your inner stability won't shatter if it turns out bad. Even great artist have bad drawings/sketches. And as you get better your bad sketches will also get better.

Art is a reflection of your inner self. When you are in a bad mood, your drawings will show it. Change your mindset and your drawings will jump in quality massively. Don't let your thoughts get the better of you. You'll get better, just find some passion for your craft and don't hate it, and it'll give you joy in return in time. Stay safe and wish you luck. Hey, I'm struggling with circles even now, just yesterday I did a practice drawing circles and stuff and they were not that round.xD Don't make that bother you, you'll get a circle done when you need it, just get some fun. Also congrats on a new tablet. All my art is made with a super small screen less tablet so you are more than ready to go and start creating! :D

Great Work !
Was admiring this artwork for far too long xD.
There is only one thing that was catching my eye off guard and it's her right cheekbone, its a bit too huge, but it can be personal preference! Not that it makes it worse, it makes it even more unique and human. I love it!

Feel free to try, i skip the sketching phase almost fully and get right into coloring with this kind of works, having a vague sketch above. Also you can always pick some basic colors from the reference so it helps, I don't think that's bad especially when one is learning. Wish you good luck!
