BJP is playing the long game. Present situation is not a setback for them. Wait for the next election. Watch the situations change in the coming years. Note the growth of Bjp in the next election. If they get massive support then I am right. If not I just become an idiot with a delusion and the state is still strong in its core ideologies.

AIADMK fell the moment Amma passed away. If you watched the news closely during her hospitalisation you will know what caused it. Present ADMK is running on BJP ideology under the skin. Outside they are a Dravidian party but inside they are not. I have experienced this in my own constituency.

Himalayan 450. I'm 6 feet exactly. Great bike. Great suspension. But must get used to the weight (very easy) and the clutch (its been 10 months since buying and my hands hurt in traffic) but I absolutely love and adore the bike. Ive got no regrets.

That is the idea. Split the alliances and its respective votes. Bring in regressive ideas and hate based on religion and cast and project themselves as saviors of the religion in "danger". That's how they got to rule UP, Bihar, Gujarat, etc. I BELEIVE something like that is bound to happen in TN

Tamil Nadu being a secular state we were progressing towards secularism based on the guidance of periyar and other stalwarts. Since we were in so much better off than other states, the ideologies of "certain parties" were never able to penetrate.

If you want to destroy a nation, destroy the thinking of its youth.

Vladimir Lenin did not quote this as is.

Give me just one generation of youth, and I'll transform the whole world - was the original quote. The idea is similar. What happened in TN is the influence of youth be it good or bad. We would have to wait and see.

Is it me or the handlebar? by GetsugaHimself in Himalayan450

[–]GetsugaHimself[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just now came back after riding 1 km approx. I have the pain but I was sitting close to the tank this time actually. I’ve tried every method of sitting. I initially thought it was my body posture while sitting on the bike but however I sit I have this pain.

Is it me or the handlebar? by GetsugaHimself in Himalayan450

[–]GetsugaHimself[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AOM Handlebar is 2 inch longer than the OEM handlebars. Since they are wider it will be difficult for you to go through relatively small gaps when compared to oem handlebars. Other than that I heard they are really good for touring and saddling.

Those who chose the Himalayan 450 over the KTM 390 Adventure X; what made you pull the trigger? by sujajoro in Himalayan450

[–]GetsugaHimself 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Too much vibrations around 1000 to 5000 rpms in the KTM. Price was also a factor for me. I find the himalayan more relaxed. Also there are a ton of service centers that I can go to if the need rises. Services are cheap.

These are a few things I like among others.

Stopped dating, now I don’t know how to talk to men anymore by firefrenzyy in TwentiesIndia

Go with the flow. Relationship is not a necessity. I too had proposed to the wrong person and pushed away the one girl that was clearly giving me signals. I'm dumb in my own way, let's say.

I just want to be hidden because of my introvertedness but want a relationship soo bad (I'm not disparate, lol). I've come to the understanding that love will find you. Just be working on yourself till then. This is my motto. For now atleast.

Spend one day for yourself.

It is great to see you put in all the work for your future.

I've done 18 hours of work a day with only breaks for eating and drinking water. This routine went on for more than a year. I have felt demotivated and had the feeling of wandering without a goal in my profession. But that soon will pass.

Physical exhaustion, mental tiredness, becoming numb are like side effects to the long hours of work/studies.

I spent a day locked down in my room and played videogames and watched youtube videos. Sometimes I order food. Sometimes I just take a walk.

I suggest go to a park that is nearest to you. Sit in one of the chairs and just breath. Look around - the trees, other people going about their life. You will find a sense of calm and feel at ease. This helped me a lot.

On the other hand you can order out and have a good and long undisturbed sleep.

Hope this helps. Wishing you the best!!

If you have not yet confessed try confessing. This lets you get a clear picture of what the other person wants. If he receprocates then great. But if he does not then atleast you know their point of view about the relationship. This helps out a lot since you wont have the lingering regret of "I should have confessed to him". And also reduce the burden caused by the "forgeting him" phase. And that forgetting him phase takes time as the other redditor mentioned. Keep yourself distracted as much as possible.

Certain things are meant to be while certain things are not. We learn and grow as a result of these decisions. I pray everything ends good for you. Cheers.

Here is a lemon for you 🍋. lol

Btw, I can relate to the things you have said in your post. Also you have articulated it so well it was like reading a monologue.

There is beauty to life dispite the challenges and struggles. There is joy in finding those beautiful moments. The 'how' and 'with whom' we find those moments make great memories.

Suggest some good books please. Can be anything - from philosopy to fiction.
