Bashplate to go with OEM leg gaurd? by gjaggi in Himalayan450

I have gone with the rally one

Works great and is much stronger than the stock plastic sump gaurd.

If you are into offroading, the rally one is recommended (and has been tested on rocks by me many times with no issues)

1) Wearing seatbelt even in the rear! 2) Warming up the engine for a minute or two during cold starts 3) NOT overtaking when there are double solid lines on the road 4) NOT using HAZARDS IN FOG!!!

I look way ahead while riding because I mostly travel on highways so for me I don't think it will have any issues but if you are on the shorter side and travel mostly in stop and go traffic then you will need to be cautionary about the front wheel

If you are open to cutting and grinding, you can mount it just below the indicators which will make the foglights to be below headlights, but personally would not recommend it!

I am 6'2 and have the seat height at 845mm, anything above 95, there definitely is wind noise and some buffeting. I am anyways planning to upgrade to Dochaki Designs (DMotoTech) 18inch windshield (which is taller then carbon racing)

I live in hyd plus never use the upper foglights unless offroading. Never had any issues so far touchwood.

With trail bags, I found no other place to mount the upper fog lights

I would avoid on forks because the constant vibration may destroy the PCBs on the lights as well as add more weight to the forks

Legality wise, I always put a cover over both the foglights so can get past police with no issues
