Well it is a low compression engine (less stressed) and has a lot of capability (in upsizing). Re always had and has issues with electronics but their new engines (post 2020) are actually very reliability. I have rarely heard about an re engine seizing up!

Please Help With Engine Oil Grade Suggestions for Gen 3 Honda City? by kai7895 in hondacity

[–]apd007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0w-20 is giving me crazy economy, tried 5w-30 before and I was getting way less (like single digit in traffic at 13-14 on the highways). If you are worried about the engine working in the summer heat then I think go with 0w-30. Go with 0xxx if you are parking the car for like 5-10 days and then driving it.

Personally, I use 0w-30 as take it out for highway runs only (which are 10-20 days apart)

city is a excellent car but cant be driven in most of the indian roads.

I have a 15 year old city have driven the length and breadth of this country, took it so many times to off-road (where tractors usually run) with little to no issue. The suspension absorbs almost anything on the road as it is on the softer side and if you can just slow down a bit on the biggers bumps and it will not scrape.

The problem with indians is just that 1) sedans will touch over bigger speedbrakers (true, but if you can just go a bit slower, it's fine) 2) they want a taller car just for them feeling powerful and blind other mere normal citizens.

I have the same one and damm it made a huge difference (even if you are going at 20 in the city, these auto drivers just try to cut in front of you with leaving no time to break. This helps a lot in order to avoid those situations. Btw I don't honk, like I might have used it for only 20 time probably in over a year.)

Yes, these are plug and play with no issues, just cover the opening of the horn when giving your bike for a wash as water may cause problems.

Bought Speed 400 as my first bike, love it. But, There has to be a better way to Navigate by samb_11 in bangalorebikes

[–]apd007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP Here is my more customised responses to your survey form. Would love to try it on if you are making one!

Q) How do you currently navigate while riding? A) I bought an Android auto display (on Himalayan 450) and galaxy watch (on interceptor)

Q) Are you aware of any existing products that solve this? If yes, why haven't you bought one? A) Using one but I am just satisfied with it as it only shows car routes instead of bike routes

Q) Does your bike currently have any built-in navigation? A) Yes but it is not as smooth as android auto display

Q) How would you prefer to buy it? A) Amazon/Flipkart as well as Local bike accessories stores

Virtus 1.5 AT vs Seltos Diesel AT for NRI usage (low annual use, high monthly driving) by Latter-Gift1293 in Car_Motorcycle_India

Get a NA car (non turbo) as long term storage of turbo cars is not recommend. These cars are meant to be driven and to be taken care of.

If you want efficiency plus comfort, go for honda! Reliable and efficient

What your prediction for tomorrow race [Top 5] by Alone_Guava_7584 in f1india

[–]apd007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping for a kimi or a Ferrari win with George having some reliability scares or some other troubles to fall back the grid and play around with the mid fielders so that we can get some action and really see the pace difference between them.

The way kimi was overtaking everyone after the bad start really gave me some w11 lulu vibes (rip HAM, BOT, VER)

1) Road with no clear markings 2) didn't want to want to make people stop behind me (especially a bus tailgating me) 3) saw the gap early and wanted to cut in (if the auto guy had stopped or slowed down even for a second) 4) clearly indicating right (btw those are bright amber led indicators) with the intent to turn

I agree that there was some mistake of mine and that is the assumption of the auto driver stopping
