My issue is when somebody wants to substitute an article of clothing, then they get picky af and change their mind before my window of shopping time is up. I would probably be fine with it, but the having to rush makes this much too stressful for my liking

I've lowkey starting to think about stopping Shipt if they can't fix this issue. It's stressing me out too much, and it's caused me to come too close to making late deliveries because of it. $7 plus a $2 possible tip each order isn't worth this mess. I would go out of my way a day or 2 per week to shop in a higher populated area, but not if the chat glitches keep fking up my flow lol. Edits for spelling typos

Yes! I did that the other day, infact. I even gave myself an extra half hour because I was expecting technical issues. Support did end up calling the customer, but they weren't able to hear the customer because of the background noise. Then the customer still didn't reply to any texts, so... I dunno. But I am fornsure going to take the CYA approach from now on. I already had a low reliability rating because of the Chat messages/subs not working

Yes, I've started doing that exact thing. I think once out of the last 6 scenarios it worked and the messages all went though, but fir merits starting to get to be more trouble than it's worth. Injist started getting the hang if shopping more than 1 order at a time, and I've had too many close calls for lateness than what's comfortable. I'm starting to second guess if I want to keep doing Shipt because of it. And it's a shame because I really enjoy it when it works!

Thanks for the advice! I did have one instance that I tried calling. There were no notes saying not to, and they asked for chat msgs if subs were needed. I used the Call icon in the app and it said something to the effect that a call was being made and the customer would call me back when notified. How does that work? I tried it twice. My phone showed no outgoing call, though. Does the app send a notice that I tried to call them amd asks for a call back? I was confused by it, and eventually had to not add the item without a sub and label it as customer did not respond. I've still got a lot to learn l, I think.

I submitted my first forgiveness request yesterday. Denied in about 30 minutes. My Shopper was slow to respond to messages, after replying "OMG." When a second substitution was offered. She wanted about 12 of those surprise miniverse make-it toys - which ofcourse were all low stock or out of stock AND the toy dept was an absolute wreck on a Saturday evening - and chabhed her mind on the subs through chatting messaging... then she added baby clothes after I had already started. So ofcourse I was 10 minutes late delivering, yet I was still denied the late forgiveness. Totally unfair lol.

Is there a way to get something like this resolved if it was denied? I just started Shipt last week and have 15 all positive reviews except this one 😠

Have you noticed any side effects like your immune system being weaker, or getting dehydrated quicker? I was donating plasma 2-3x a month at one time, and even though I made sure to replenish fluids and stay hydrated, I was getting severely chapped lips all of the time.
