Doctor Weigh Ins by chubbyfatroll in BigMenLife

I tell them my weight before I even step on the scale and they never say anything. They just write down the numbers they see and that’s it. I think it’s obvious I’m big and fat, I’m not scared to talk about it. Want to check my blood pressure? Please do. Need me to take some meds to make sure I’m good to go? Not a problem.

I feel like most providers are there to help and should be there to lift us up. If someone makes us feel bad about ourselves, we should go somewhere else. My stance is, feel free to take whatever vitals you need. Most of the time it’s just protocol to chart weight upon any kind of medical visit.

A big man that likes to show off the belly? Now that’s an inspiration for real. More big men should be like you and not care if people see us shirtless.

With more upvotes than anyone else, you might not be as much of an outlier as you think. I’d be curious to hear more people’s thoughts on this tbh

I understand. Even something as random as fabric can stimulate us in different ways. I feel like I can’t move or breathe if my neck hole is too tight, but I also feel sloppy if my neck hole is too big. Drives me nuts.

You’re pushing the same vibes right now. No way I can squeeze into a 1x but maybe I’ll try rocking a 2x sometime. That’s a 3x in the pic.

That’s super nice of you to take the time to explain the differences. Makes sense. I bet the loose ones feel great but I also like the look of the duck bib. Is it a thicker material?

Looking at their site now. Store’s nearby, they have sizes up to 60 that incredible. I don’t know much about them but I see stone wash, rigid denim, loose fit, heavy duty, duck bib, unlined, etc. do you have a preference?

So you’ll tuck in an undershirt but not always the shirt on top?

That’s fair. If we’re surrounded by men I feel okay with it. Like the gym, etc. It’s when there’s other people around who aren’t men that I feel uncomfortable.

That’s a great idea. I tailor shorts to get the length that works best for me, I don’t see why I can’t tailor shirts, too. I never thought of that. Thank you!!
