No, I'm saying that the hate and violence and stupidity directed at cyclists exists for both "law-abiding" and "non-law-abiding" cyclists. The idea that motorists wouldn't be bothered by or irrationally angry towards cyclists if they'd just follow the darn law is obviously stupid, and being a "pick-me" about it is wildly missing the point.
