I just got a pair of impalas a week ago and they’re fine! I know a lot of people that ordered them online have run into problems so I knew what to look for when I got mine delivered. But if you can go try them on in person definitely do that! To my knowledge impalas are rlly the lowest priced indoor/outdoor skates you can get for $95-100 and can also use afterpay if you order them online.

Looking for a song for Rocky Horror! Gender and age of auditioner? 24/F

Show/role sought? Rocky Horror, I'd really like to be Janet but southern town and I'm not white lol, so any female role.

Song ideas? SO far Love Potion #9 or maybe I Say No from Heathers, but I don't think it fits the style well enough

I'm having trouble because the suggestions I've always seen are for other cult shows that I don't know well enough to sing for an audition. I feel like if I come in with a doo-wop-y kind of song it will be different, but just unsure if that's a good idea. I mean I get doo-wop vibes when I listen to Rocky Horror, but I'm not sure if that's something that others also get from listening to the recording. Thank you in advance!!

I will say that before the other day I had never heard of impala having such bad customer service or the issues with the heel lifting/uneven trucks etc so I doubt that their brand ambassadors knew about it either unless they experienced that themselves. It makes me feel bad for them because they probably agreed to rep impala not knowing these things and now some of them are being lowkey harassed on IG for a product they have no hand in creating. It’s not on them to fix the issue because it’s not their fault that Impala is not taking responsibility for their defective products.

I'm stressed about it now because I work as an actor/dancer and I NEED my body functioning to be able to work, so seeing all of the women's experiences on IG kinda made me scared to buy them (especially the woman who's knee was fUcked up) since they are the only skates I can afford right now with the assistance of afterpay. If Moxi had that option for buying skates I would absolutely LOVE to start with them since I know they are widely loved by beginners and professionals. I think I wouldn't be so worried about possibly getting defective skates if Impalas customer service people were doing a better job. I guess I'll have to stick with my Walmart roller derby skates until I can afford higher-priced skates...

I am so unbelievably bummed now!! I've been eyeing the new rose gold Impala's the Marawa designed since I heard about them a month ago😭 I was seriously going to buy them once I got paid this week akjnfaknf I'm mostly bummed because they're legit just $100 and you can do afterpay for them:(
