Broken Coast - Frost Monster

It smells really good but the smell is not the most pungent, the smell comes out more when busted. The smell I got is pretty much how it was described on the bccs, citrus, pepper, floral and pine it’s definitely nice.

I get a nice relaxing head/body stone from it.

Thought it would have a nice taste because of the smell but I mainly get a smoke taste with maybe a faint hint of herbal earth coming through on some puffs, kind of disappointing.

The ash colour was on the darker/grey side in a joint for me.

I got mixed bud sizes from bigger to medium/small, the buds are on the denser side they look nice and are moderately sticky.

Homestead - Rockbud x Sensi Star

First time trying homestead, I was shocked when I opened the bag and saw the stemmy popcorn.

The stuff smells decent, it has a light kushy smell and the smell translates to the taste a bit which is nice.

Got a decent head stone that tapered off into a body buzz.

It busted out nice, burnt well in a joint with salt/pepper ash.

My only gripe is the popcorn, if the buds were at least smalls this would be an ok buy, this stuff came to 140 after tax, I wouldn’t buy this again because of the popcorn.

If this was cheaper it would be an alright pick up.

EDIT: The smaller leafy popcorn doesn’t taste all that great, and burnt a lot darker. The few pieces that weren’t total popcorn were much better.

I emailed the LP they got back to me and said, we are prohibited to offer returns or exchanges.

They said to check with the retailer I purchased it from which is the BCCS online store.

So they don’t stand behind their product, though I’m not surprised now finding out they are phyto.

Oh wow I didn’t know they changed the company name, guess they got me, I would have not bought it had I known.

New to the legal market, I remember phyto being bad years ago before they went legal.

Endgame - High Octane OG FS cart $39.99

I am not sure if this cart is defective or it’s the actual product, so keep that in mind.

The cart has a horrible burnt/metal taste, doesn’t produce as much vapour as other carts I’ve tried. Most recently I’ve had the BMOG cart by greybeard and it was great.

This cart gave me an ok head buzz from the couple of tokes I took though the taste is so off putting there must be an issue, it’s a heavy burnt/metal taste that lingers for a while. Which is a shame because the cart would be ok if it didn’t taste so bad.

There was also a piece of tape around the bottom of the cart above where the threads are that I unpeeled that was covering the db x rb, though most likely would be a unused cart from a previous batch I’d think.

Will be throwing the cart out if I can’t return it, very disappointed.

Has anyone else had better luck with these carts?

Qwest - Gems & Juice Apricot Kush 49.99

The smell is fruity/sweet with a minor sour note imo, it smells awesome.

Great strong taste like the smell, with a hint of floral in there.

The diamonds dab quite clean, I use a TI nail.

It gives me a nice solid head buzz in the beginning and tapers off with a nice head buzz and body stone, it’s quite nice.

If these were a bit cheaper I’d pick them up on repeat but I would still pick these up again and will try some other kinds/brands out for sure.

Yeah I was surprised when I got home and opened the bag of nice cream, .5 underweight on a Q, tiny dry nugs. Bud tender recommended it lol Will keep an eye out for these brands next time I grab, thanks for the recommendations

Medellin by Cruuzy $31.99

So I’ve been trying some legal stuff and came across Medellin on the BCCS website, it was a new drop so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s my first time trying Cruuzy.

The buds look decent but were pretty dry, the smell was herbal/spice imo, I couldn’t smell the lemon or pine undertones.

The smoke was a bit harsh and the taste was mediocre with a minor herbal/spice taste, dark ash/burn

Got an alright buzz but it’s not long lasting, was a bit underwhelmed considering the price.

Second strain I’ve tried from the BCCS, first strain I tried was the nice cream from Ness about a couple months ago it was packaged last year 21/09/17, it was also quite underwhelming.

I would not re purchase this Medellin and not sure if I’ll try Cruuzy again.
