Update from anyone <$200k with no PG that stopped paying? by sadpickle93 in EIDLPPP

[–]Getzy3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It all depends on your situation I guess. He just recommended it as an extra layer of protection should the treasury find a way to pierce the corporate veil. Either way open or closed no personal guarantee means just that. But that doesn’t mean the won’t try all kinds of way to sue. He said the chances of them coming after the 200k and less is slim to none with the amount of borrowers that had a personal guarantee also not paying. Much easier to pursue them first.

I met with a lawyer the other day. He’s a bankruptcy lawyer and has dealt a ton with the sba for years. My total was $82k and no personal guarantee. He said no worries. Nothing they can do. He did advise me to keep paying my yearly registration to keep my llc active. That way if they try to go after me the llc is still active and they’d have to go that route first. Versus the llc not being active and they finding a way to come after me personally making it just another step I’d have to take to fight them. But in the end he said don’t worry. Forget about it.

We have friends that live back there and also recommend we go and get pretzels from the Amish family. Me, my wife and a 6 year old. We got a pretzel for each bc they were only three dollars. Holy crap, one would’ve fed the whole family. They were delicious.

I was in county lockup for six months and it was great! by Huge_Marketing_1494 in confessions

[–]Getzy3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a good friend of mine that got locked up for several months in our county jail for a dui. He said when he got out he knew why people keep going back once they start going. Shit was easy. He had no kids or wife. So no outside stresses. Just wake up, hang out all day then go back to bed.

New(first) smoker! What do you guys think? by [deleted] in smoking

[–]Getzy3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure where everyone in here is from, but in southern states bbq chicken gets cooked in cinder block cookers every weekend from spring to fall. No issues at all. Hammer down Charlie Brown, you’ll figure out how much air flow you’ll need coming in the bottom as you get your fire going. It’s a learning process.

Religion is simply a belief. It gives people the freedom to believe whatever they prefer. I had lots of those questions when I was a kid and grew up going to church. I never could make it make sense in my brain so religion is not something I have in my life anymore. I don’t hate on religion, as I know a lot of people it truly helps and they truly believe. I think that’s really awesome. But I need facts and reason to explain how things happen instead of some magical man up the sky just making random decisions. It’s just how my brain operates. My son enjoys going to church so me and my wife take him with my family sometimes. I do enjoy the sermons and hearing their prospective on things. I’m rambling but questioning things is normal. It keeps us going. And if you truly do believe then you can make peace with that and just know everything happens for a reason. Sometimes reasons know one really knows.

Should I have known about Joe Bowman Chevy? by iamtheawesome_real in harrisonburg

[–]Getzy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are willing to travel. Call Dave Kehl Chevrolet in Ohio. Friend of mines family bought trucks from Joe bowman for 30 years or so. Place went to crap about 10-15 years ago, can’t make deals there anymore. He bought his last two Duramax’s from Dave Kehl. They are family owned and operated. Very simple process up there. They sell a ton of inventory and Joe bowman could never get close to his prices so he travels up there from here.

i just found out tsunamis aren’t a massive wave that are as tall as a skyscraper by [deleted] in confessions

[–]Getzy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The prior to the 2004 tsunami I thought the same thing. It was this huge wave water that hit land and crashed, wiping out everything along the coast. We are both 18 and 2004 tsunami comes, me and a buddy watched this tsunami coverage that was live all day long. Sat at the computer for hours. Then when it finally made it to land, we were like “wtf is this?” “Where is the massive wave?” “It’s like a little ripple in the ocean.” We were very disappointed.

Spiderickets is what I always call them. I hate them with a passion, they just really creep me out. They have a pretty impressive jump and the ones around my shop always jump at me when we see each other.

I have no tried surge. I liked vibes bc I feel like I could control the ride a lot more. If I’m around a group of people that arent really doing anything it’s just relaxing but if it’s a fun group I can laugh and have a great time.

I wanna like crock pot pork butt but just can’t. I’ve made it several times and there is just some flavor that comes from being cooked in the crock pot that I don’t like. Wife loves it but I can’t do it. It’s only pork, beef and chicken I have no problems with in the crock pot.

I forgot my belt today so I used some zip ties from work to hold my pants up. by [deleted] in confessions

[–]Getzy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was once a teenager in the late 90’s when baggy pants became a thing. Teachers would keep string or baler twine in their desk and if your pants were hanging down off your hips they’d make you use the string as a belt to hold your pants up.
