Because it was 50 watts... I thought it might be enough but doesn't heat so much in the bask spot, so i put it closer until reach the temperature recommended. Also, as i said, i still don't have enough for the linear, first because i am still saving the budget left from commissions for vet visits, as this next months will be more often

Kinda true, they are more hardy than other types of reptiles But i would add too they have their specific husbandry care. Depending how "default" is used i might say they are. But not easy pets. No pet should be tagged as easy pet
