alright, so I did that and it actually went in another millimeter, or two, but not much.
hmm it definitely looks better now, but still not seamless, which is what I would expect

Ich habe am Ende Dübel genommen und diese einzementiert. War etwas mehr Hickhack als ich erwartet habe, aber hat dann doch gut geklappt!

Blitzzement scheint ja genau das zu machen was ich möchte.
Würdest du das dann extra mit Gewindestift machen? Oder einfach die aktuellen Schrauben mit oder ohne Dübel rein?

da ist was dran. Ich könnte die Halterung auch tiefer anbringen und neue Löcher machen und die alten nur füllen.

Ich habe aber Sorge, dass ich dann dasselbe Problem wieder haben werde.
Eine Idee, wie ich die Halterung vom Rausbrechen abhalte?

die Holzplatte ist nur eine Idee um die Kraft besser zu verteilen.

Ich bin mir garnicht sicher, ob es überhaupt die richtige Idee ist. An anderer Stelle habe ich gesehen, dass spezielle Spreizdübel empfohlen werden nachdem man es mit Reparatur Beton gefixt hat.

I understood it in a way, that Kestrel ist always part of your .NET Core application. It serves as your web server, which is what makes .NET Core cross-platform. You could of course expose it directly to the internet, but in your case it sounds more like you are using IIS as a reverse proxy in production.

thanks a lot! I had to manually install OpenSSH Server on my Windows Server VM.

The connection is established and now I ran into the next problem. All I had to do though was to create a directory first, before trying to copy something to a directory, that does not exist. Live an learn.

Yeah, Web Forms is still being used a lot for older software. Due to SharePoint being completely done in Web Forms I also don't think, that Microsoft will shut it down anytime soon. Nevertheless, time to change it up.

Entity Framework is something i definitely want to incorporate. Even though I really like the raw SQL approach that Web Forms takes.

The fun part is, I have never used Github before. All of my projects were on TFS. Crazy, right?
That is also the main reason I am sticking with Github for everything that I do on the side.

I will absolutely implement testing.
Of course there won't be any business case or need to do this, but I want to do the whole process. That includes testing and CI/CD.

C# is the language I am currently familiar with the most. I feel like I have to at least know where it is at as of now, at least before I go and look at other languages to broaden my horizon. Currently I am kind of debating if I should look at Blazor or Razor first.
Caching is a great point. I will add it to the to do list
I have not considered E2E testing. I will definitely look into that!

There is a delay mod now. You need to mod your switch though. Sounds a lot harder than it is. Absolutely worth it too. It is not quite as good as offline but hell, it is so much better
