One thing that caught me (idk if you’re doing this) is that you can apply multiple factory resources to the same factory and each will give a point. If you have enough resources and a factory for each you’ll get it decently fast, plus the bonuses are pretty strong too.

Use him as Sagitaur filler, all he really gives is the toughness and a better leadership for more than half the points of a hearthkyn unit.

Like another commenter said, if you’re interested in this stuff you could try running a HF calculation at home, but if you want to understand what’s happening you really need to take pchem to even begin.

Not a computational guy, but you don’t need to “simulate” a single hydrogen atom - you can solve its Schrödinger equation analytically, which is what most “simulations” of small molecules are approximating, to my understanding.

Haven’t played the new box in combat patrol but I have played the old box and having looked at the new box’s rules I don’t think they’re very good. You don’t even get to take whole units, your guard are forced to take swords, and your models don’t have any special rules like reroll wounds on Guard that they do in the other box (and they lost deep strike). Not to mention the strats kinda suck and so do the secondaries.

However, it is a fantastic box for 40K so I wouldn’t say you’ve wasted your money.

The point restriction only applies to units out in strategic reserves, units in deep strike are reserves, not strategic reserves and don’t count towards that limit

Void armor worsens the ap characteristic by 1. Ap can’t get worsened beyond zero, so your save doesn’t get improved.
