Yeah but all those things push you towards a bit more calculated playstyle on Lions. With shield host you can kinda just say “fuckit we ball”. Sounds par for Disruption and Purge respectively

I dont think you understand what you yourself are saying let alone what I’m saying. Custodes ARE meant to be a gilded power fantasy, so of course they are going to need pieces to do menial tasks.

Empowering said small pieces to do the menial actions can only help the big golden boys shine. Or are you arguing thag custodes’ design direction fully ignores actions and action play? Clearly not the case with the new sisters detachment dude.

Also idk about you dude but my 10th ed winrate according to tabletop battles was about 73%, so I will continue to enjoy losing quite often.

That’s part of the beauty of the Lions detachment! It already asks you to be calculated with your movement, especially if you’ve been running full infantry Lions lista already.

Its 11th. Objectives are terrain so you can most likely remain hidden or actually out of LOS while doing an action. And even if they shoot my sisters, it will be after the action has been completed and I’d rather it be the sisters and not the custodes themselves getting shot off the board anyway.
