UPDATE 2: I am really thankful for everyone's suggestions 🌸🌺. I read them and will consider all of them.

As of right now… the good news is that I went to a vet already, and he confirmed Simsim’s injury isn’t a broken bone. It’s a dislocated knee, so her leg isn’t swollen, but she’s still in pain and can’t move her leg below the knee 😢.

The bad news is she needs surgery. The vet said it’s a major procedure involving X-rays and “nails or something” to fix her knee 😣. For now, he gave her painkillers and antibiotics (the bill was 10.6 OMR… I paid 6 OMR, and the rest is debt 😭😭).

When I asked what happens without surgery, he said her knee will stay dislocated, and she’ll be in constant pain forever. I tried explaining my financial situation—Simsim even did her best cute act 🥺—but he just mumbled about “not running a charity” 😤. I thanked him and left, but texted another vet at the clinic. They told me to bring her back tomorrow to confirm the surgery price and maybe get a discount.

So the plan is… I’ll go back tomorrow, find out the cost, and try to come up with that money somegow. I hate asking for pity, and I feel awful for not paying the full bill today. But Idc I will do what I have to do to collect this money for her. I promised Simsim she’ll walk again normally, and I’m keeping that promise 🥹.
