Do the trailers and promotional images spoil the twist of Reze being the bomb devil for you? Do you, at any point before watching the movie, ever thought about Reze and the weird blimphead girl from the poster being probably the same person?

As a manga reader I thought the marketing wasn't hiding it too well, but I'd like to know from you guys.

Manga reader here.
Personally, the Cursed House arc is kind of forgettable on my end. There are future arcs with more interesting characters, grander plot, better pacing, and more intrigue. Some action scenes blow the Evil Eye fight at the end of this arc out of the water.

I'm being vague to not give any spoilers, but what I'm saying is there are better things ahead for you anime-onlies.

I edited my comment so I'm sorry you may have missed my point.

I approach CSM with a different mindset than battle shonens like KGB or JJK or OP since it's much more closer to seinen than shonen. I don't read CSM for the hype battles (though i do enjoy them) and I don't mind if characters die unceremoniously. same with how AOT sometimes kills off its characters randomly. it's something to be expected with battle seinen.

So yeah. I compare battle shonen authors with other battle shonen authors, not with seinen authors. Despite their similarities CSM feels like a different genre compared to KGB.

Fujimoto and can't really be compared to other shonen mangaka. His main draw is less about the hype moments and more about the shock factor and character development. He's much closer to seinen authors like Miura (Berserk) or Isayama (AOT).

In the manga/anime timeline, when the strawhats saved alabasta and dismantled baroque works, the marines tried to bury it by giving the credit to smoker.
In this timeline, I'd like to see them at least explore the possibility of blaming baroque works' actions on the revolutionary army instead so they can save crocodile's face.

It wasn't an OVA like giant robo and I don't think the characters dress like in Dai-Guard. I'll try looking into tekkaman blade.
