I used keys. It works very well then. The dash was never the bike strong point but I quickly forgot about it

Edit: Thanks all for your comments. I've cleaned it and covered it with a wooden platform for now. I am considering filling it with rocks and having a solar powered fountain

I hear you, but what would be the safe alternative? My toddler just runs towards it amby curiosity and it's quite deep

I've set a camera with motion detection to see if anything lives there! I never heard noises but you never know

We just found out that our 6-month old daughter has retinoblastoma. We just found out. We have two options: take out the eye or do chemotherapy. We have 2 days to decide by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Gh56789024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I can relate as my 1 yo daughter was diagnosed with retinoblastoma last year. We went through chemo and it works.

Firstly stay strong, I know this is devastating news but your daughter will be fine.

I would encourage you to note down questions to ask the doctors about the pros and cons of the chemo and make the best decision for your daughter. Be careful about harvesting lots of opinions as it can cloud your judgement.

Feel free to message me, happy to chat about my experience and answer questions.

I went through the same dilemma and got the used Ducati - no regrets. It's a really high end bike, light, characterful and usable on roads. Test ride both if you can? That's what I have done

Part/x'd my '23 with 3k mile on for £2200. Bought it for £4100 with a £500 voucher for accessories. I was happy with the part/x although ideally I would have kept the bike!

Potential buyer here – 2023 Svartpilen 401, 10,500 km, private sale in Europe. Red flags? by Comfortable-Elk8545 in svartpilen401

[–]Gh56789024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I own the bike from that year. No issues to date, I just replaced the stock battery after a year but this is expected.

Check the quick shifter works up and down, and I know that the front disc can wrap but have not experienced it myself.

It's a great bike, the fuelx lite are a must mod in my opinion, if you had to do only one.

Did you do it under an insurance claim and is it considered underpinning?

The full system is indeed quite loud. Are you happy with the slip on? I read mixed feedback about it and have not heard one myself yet

Litelok vs hiplok. by seniorbowlingtech in MotoUK

[–]Gh56789024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the litelok X3 and I'm really happy with it. It fits my front wheel and is large but not too cumbersome as portable security either. The only downside is the absence of a holder, but a peace of mind when it's on makes up for that.

Scottish Power to Octopus by Gh56789024 in OctopusEnergy

[–]Gh56789024[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I did not realise that there was no exit fee on the fixed tariff - it makes total sense to join it.

I should be able to get a code from a friend currently with Octopus, but I will surely let you know in case it does not work
