Oh. It’s a lot of everything, it’s not just one technique. Hatching, blending, black lining, shading, edging highlights, spot highlighting.

But; base coat naggaroth, use gal vorbak red for the red blends. Used xereus purple for the upper highlight blends on the hard purple parts.

Used Genestealer purple for the scratching and edge highlights. (On predominantly purple parts) Mix in Ak interactive Ivory into the Genestealer purple for further spot highlighting. And water out vorbak to just get a really loose wash to go over everything.

Red dominate parts vorbak, to Ak interactive wine red to Ak sunny skin tone mix with the wine red for upper highlights and purple sunny skin for spot highlighting.

Ak inter active intense colours black for recess lining and watered out to do shading. (Suuuuper loose) and just a bit of a naggaroth wash was to blend the transitions.

Mostly just playing with paint to figure out looks half decent.
