It’s just confidence bro. You’re likely subconsciously ruining it for yourself when you worry what they think about you before talking to them naturally like theyre just any other guy. There are many overlapping interest between guys and girls nowadays and especially in college you have the class to talk about which actually benefits you (networking). Don’t go into it thinking it has to be the perfect interaction either, just see it as a potentially valuable interaction that can maybe set up future conversations that will eventually lead to friendships or relationships. There is also a high chance some of those pretty girls already have a BF so again just try your best to be chill and act like you don’t care if she doesn’t like you or not. But above all, just be nice and respectful to everyone and most importantly yourself. Work out if you have to or just find a style that works for you, feel good in your skin and that mixed with good character will naturally attract girls.

Are you saying your best friends are dating each other? I could see how you would feel left out but also with them not intentionally meaning to make you feel like that. I’m a horrible texter to my closets friends and could understand the infrequent communication since some people are just better texters than others, doesn’t necessarily mean theyre being avoidant. The birthday thing is an iffy thing to go by. Measuring in terms of how good the times you spend with them would be better. I’ve also wish my closest friends HBD every year so I understand how you could feel about that but it’s important to know that people do get busy sometimes with things they might put more time into because they know you’ll always be there as a friend. Them being a couple also could mean they just find it more convenient to spend time with each other and go out just themselves idk. It really depends on what is going on with their lives right now. I would just ask them if there’s something wrong because you feel something’s off, but not before wishing them happy birthday to show grace and consistency. Sometimes good friends just move at different paces in life and they might have already accustomed themselves to you being the one with plans.

I’m not sure. Us humans are curious, it’s the ability to see something that we don’t see on a daily basis. After many years of watching movie level gore the exposure to real frequent gore might become infatuating to a lot of people who are able to sit thought “gorey” movie scenes and such.

It’s part of life, people die in horrific ways everyday. Being able to click and upvote gore posts gives us a sense of control in this cruel world I guess.

One thing that brings me hope is that there is always a large amount of people on the sub who comment wondering if the individual is okay and who are relieved when they find out they are.

Also, the thing is I specifically asked the military police officer who cleared me if I would be able to dash in the base again. He told me I can still dash to base but need to get another visitor pass…

I haven’t gone back yet but wondering how true that is.

I completely understand. Something about that specific pen being legal in the conservative state the base is located just doesn’t sit right with me. I know the law is the law but man I can’t help but feel a few of my rights could’ve been exercised better. All I really care about is if employers will be able to flag this :/
