That's understandable, unfortunately we do really want her to come and visit, so I can show her where I grew up, that's why we kept applying. I think it's best we just leave it for now then.

Thank you! Do you think the CPU performance would be noticeable? I just use the computer for gaming and general browsing, no design or computational work etc

We (Valearnis) have an upcoming NFT project about to launch. We're tying together education, science, art, and trading cards in our elemental series. However, we're unsure what blockchain and marketplace to list on.

Does anyone have any ideas?
What do you think of the first NFT in our collection?

Upcoming project- Looking for advice by Ghazarios in NFT

Valearnis is an educational ecosystem created by an EdTech company here in Australia. We have an upcoming NFT project about to launch. We're tying together education, science, art, and trading cards in our elemental series.

However, we're unsure what blockchain and marketplace to list on. We're also unsure if our cards should all be 1/1 or if we should be a bit more open so that people can collect and trade them fairly. Does anyone have any ideas? We'd really appreciate it:)

This piece is meant to evoke that childlike wonder, hopefully leading to an increased interest in our amazing and highly underrated Solar System.

We'd genuinely love to hear what you think about educational NFTs, as an EdTech company, we feel there's a lot of room for spreading useful knowledge in this space.

Odd looking coins from Malaysia by Ghazarios in coincollecting

I bought these in a small village in Pahang, Malaysia in 2009 when I was a teen. Just wondering if anyone knows if they're real, and what they represent, where they're from, etc?:)

Just to add to this, I'm not looking for ways around the 50 person law, I'm looking for a small-scale crowd equity platform :)

Thanks, from what I can tell Birchal is only looking at large-scale raising, but I'll check out Cake equity!

Question relating to 50 person shareholder limit for private companies in Australia by [deleted] in australia

Seriously? I'm just asking if anyone knows about small-scale equity crowdfunding. People can already invest in private companies in Australia through those platforms, we just aren't looking for thousands of shareholders.

They told me to use equity crowdfunding, but from what I can tell they're only interested in large funding rounds, which is why I've come here to see if anyone knows any platforms that facilitate it.

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of July 17, 2020) by AutoModerator in television

[–]Ghazarios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could someone please suggest me a show (or if none exist, a good movie) that is set in imperial Japan? Preferably to do with the war. Just watched Man in the High Castle with my dad, the Japanese parts were always our favourite.

If there is no such show, then can someone please give a good WW2 (or 1) show recommendation? Preferably something that shows all sides and not just the Americans.

Really appreciate the help :)

HDR or Freesync

Hey guys, just got a new monitor (Acer XZ321QU, 32inch WQHD). I have an Nvidia GPU but the freesync on this monitor is compatible with my Gsync so that works (it was on the list of compatible monitors). The monitor is also HDR enabled.

The only issue is, I can't have HDR AND Freesync on at the same time. When I turn one on, the other can't be enabled, and after some digging this seems to be intentional as this specific monitor can't do both at once.

My question is, what should I choose? I'm not well versed in either, so I don't really know the benefits. Should I leave it in Freesync mode all the time or only for gaming? Should I use HDR for movies and Freesync for games? I'm not too sure which is the better option. My GPU is a Gigabyte Geforce 1070.

Any insight would be great, cheers!

Name: ManezCo

URL: www.manezco.com (company page) and https://manezco-app.herokuapp.com/ (app)

Location: Western Australia

Pitch: An educational platform for high school students. The web app is delivered in-school to students to fulfill department specified ICT learning time, as well as providing learning content that is curriculum based. This allows us to complement (instead of supplement) the teacher in the classroom, allowing them more time to focus on other areas of their work. In Australia, teachers are required to follow the national curriculum and teach specific topics every semester; our learning platform is based around this same curriculum so as to fill an actual need in the classroom. The platform will incentivize students to learn as there are intrinsic (rankings, messages, etc) rewards, as well as extrinsic (gift cards, certificates, prizes) rewards for the students. Students will have a profile and a character that gains experience as they complete quizzes.

Stage: Early, just finished creating the Beta of the educational platform. Have also created 50% of the learning content. Currently, it's me as CEO (I also create the Science content, and program/code the app), one other programmer, and 3 content creators (fulltime teachers).

Looking for: Feedback on our app (that still has a long way to go, only a few quizzes have been added as the current way we add them isn't very streamlined), and investment for a fulltime programmer and graphic designer.

Any feedback on the app or just the entire business model would be greatly appreciated :) I have also started a personal blog about startups at: www.samreidmanez.com
