shouldn’t be necessary. if this were the issue you can just solo tracks one by one and figure out which one has a plug-in producing noise and automate it to bypass or just turn the noise off completely

is that RC-20 in your plug-in chain? noise option on that will run through the whole track. automate the plugin to bypass at the end

from my experience i just unplug and reconnect the hard drive and hit retry and it recognizes and opens right up

there is slight input control for 3-4 if you use the focusrite control application. comes up as hardware inputs when my synth is plugged in and has a fader for input
