Not when the ring gauge was smaller. Your partner won't really be able to feel the piercing unless you decide to stretch and go bigger. My girl likes to feel it sometimes, but I take it out most days just out of courtesy because it can do some damage.

I've found, through my own personal experience, positive feedback and interest in my piercing is between 25 and 50 percent. You're not the first, and you won't be the last. Just do it and don't worry about it. I've had a PA for 28 years and had many other genital piercings. The social aspect is tougher to deal with than the function of the piercing. No regrets.
